Does BeReady replace the official B Impact Assessment?
No. B Corp certification still happens through B Lab's official B Impact platform — and it should. BeReady prepares your data and documentation so completing the official assessment is faster, more accurate, and far less painful. Think of us as the year-round preparation layer.
Which accounting platforms do you connect to?
QuickBooks (and hopefully Xero and Wave) at launch. Additional integrations will follow based on user demand.
Do I need to be pursuing certification to use BeReady?
Not at all. Many early users are B-curious businesses that want to understand where they stand and track improvement over time — without committing to a certification timeline. BeReady is useful at every stage of the B Corp journey.
How much time does BeReady actually require from me?
A few minutes per week, declining over time as BeReady learns your business. Our review queue is designed to surface only what genuinely needs a human eye — everything we can handle automatically, we do.
Can I involve my team?
Yes — and this is an area we're actively developing with our early partners. BeReady is designed to route the right tasks to the right people, so B Corp readiness becomes a shared team practice rather than one more thing the owner carries alone.
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. We connect to accounting platforms using read-only API access — we cannot make changes to your accounts. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We will never sell your data. That is a founding commitment, not a policy.
